STA INTRODUCES A RECURRENT EXPERT PERCEPTION TRACKER TO CAPTURE INSIGHTS ON TRANSPORT ISSUES

STA is excited to announce the launch of the STA Expert Perception Tracker, a new initiative designed to capture expert sentiment and qualitative insights on key transport topics.

The STA Expert Perception Tracker takes the form of a 1-minute survey, conducted regularly, aiming to better understand and analyse the experts' perception on strategic transport themes.

Each edition will be aligned with the objectives and main activities of STA Technical Committees, the core transport trends and challenges.

The first edition is dedicated to safety and resilience across EU transport systems. The questions aim to evaluate transport infrastructure performance, user safety perceptions, climate adaptation and resilience, and the importance of preventive maintenance across EU countries.

The findings of each survey will be analysed and presented in a short follow-up report, contributing to the development of a body of knowledge on an annual basis.

The STA Expert Perception Tracker 1/2026 closed on 31 March 2026.
